Thistle is a brick-and-mortar shop located in quaint downtown Wellington, Colorado.
We opened in September of 2017 with the intention of bringing unique handcrafted goods that aren't found in big box stores. We pride our store on carrying items from artisans with quality craftsmanship and style. New items are constantly being added so be sure to check in often!
about the owner
My name is Kelly McDowell DeVries. I grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming beneath the Bighorn Mountains. I got my degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. I've been a designer for almost 20 years and have worked in Chicago and Grand Junction, Colorado as a designer and I still design for a variety of small businesses. I've also owned a soap company since 2007 and make soap for various boutiques around the country as well as Thistle. I have two sons who are my world, a husband that works hard to provide for us and supports my venture. We have three cats and one crazy pug.
